I think his works are rather interesting, mostly because they show "situations from life". I've always liked looking at those pretty dressed women, it's such a shame that nowadays going out dress in a long victorian dress is considered rather funny. I'm aware of the fact how uncomfortable it was to wear them everyday and to walk around the extremely dirty streets but I still think they are absolutely fantastic.;> Going back I like his illustrations for Vanity Fair and he did a great work in illustrating Bible.
