Edwin Austin Abbey (1852-1911) was an American illustrator and painter. He is best known for his artworks in Victorian and Shakespearean subjects. He painted coronation of Edward VII and was offered a knighthood, which he denied.
His illustrations are simply wonderful. What an amazing artist he was!
